Lapus said based on their records, this year’s enrollment in public schools is one of the biggest, but said that everything is set for the opening of classes on June 10.
“All is set for the start of classes. We have enough classrooms and teachers for this school year,” Lapus said.
He shared that DepEd has hired 10,868 new teachers for this school year, bringing the total number of teachers to 480,483, which means a 1:36 teacher-student ratio.
